It's been five years since 31 October 2021, and I still don't know how to put everything I feel for you into words.
First, thank you. Thank you for being my best friend. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the late talks, and all those little things that became such a big part of my life.
I know our journey has not been perfect. I know there have been moments when I hurt you, and I am truly sorry for the pain I caused. I cannot change those moments, but I can take responsibility for them and keep working to be better. You deserve care, respect, honesty, and peace.
I don't want you to feel that you have to be okay all the time. You don't have to hide your bad days or pretend to be strong with me. I want to listen, understand, and respect your feelings, even when the conversations are difficult.
And I want you to know something. I am proud of you. Not because you have to achieve anything or prove anything, but because I see you trying. Even if those words feel hard to hear, I mean them.
From best friends to lovers, you have become such a beautiful part of my life. I love you, and I want my actions to make those words mean something.
